#MeToo and Men: The Case for Due Process

March 26, 2019, 6 to 8:15 p.m.

SPC Seminole Conference Center

The #MeToo Movement exposed the dirty little secret of sexual exploitation of women by men in the workplace. Powerful heads rolled across America. But a counter-movement known as #HimToo went viral a year later, after Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was accused by two women of having assaulted them in high school. This backlash over lack of due process for accused men raises the question: Has #MeToo overreached? The forum will explore the handling of sexual harassment complaints to ensure justice for all parties.
